At Bearpath Golf & Country Club, I worked alongside the construction team during the removal and rebuilding of putting greens. My responsibilities included assisting with shaping and rebuilding green complexes, with an emphasis on proper surface contours and drainage to support long-term performance. Throughout the grow-in, I monitored moisture levels, fertility, and turf response, making daily adjustments to irrigation and cultural practices. Consistent mowing, light and frequent topdressing, and well-timed nutrient applications helped establish dense, healthy bentgrass putting surfaces that matured into smooth, firm, and reliable greens.
During the construction phase, I was directly involved in rebuilding, shaping, and completing final detailing on all bunker features across the property. This included forming bunker cavities, refining faces and floors, and ensuring proper transitions, drainage, and playability. To minimize sand contamination and long-term maintenance requirements, Klingstone was selected as the bunker liner system. Applied to both bunker bases and faces, the liner cured into a stabilized, inert soil layer that reduced erosion, particularly on steep faces while maintaining excellent drainage. The system required no heavy machinery or certified installers and allowed for simple, cost-effective repairs when needed.

To prevent sand contamination and reduce long-term maintenance demands, the club selected Klingstone as the bunker liner system. Klingstone is applied directly to both bunker bases and faces, where it cures into a stabilized, inert soil layer that creates a durable barrier between native soils and bunker sand. This barrier significantly minimizes erosion particularly on steep faces while maintaining excellent drainage characteristics.
Once cured, Klingstone penetrates and binds the soil within the bunker cavity, keeping bunker sand clean and consistent while ensuring native soils remain undisturbed beneath the liner. The system eliminates the need for heavy machinery or certified installers and allows for simple, cost-effective repairs when needed.
