Brook Hollow Golf Club
My first Assistant Superintendent position was at Brook Hollow Golf Club, where I gained broad experience across multiple areas of golf course management. I was heavily involved in daily irrigation troubleshooting and repairs, diagnosing system issues, performing timely fixes, and ensuring consistent water coverage throughout the course. In addition to routine operations, I played an active role in the construction of new coastal-style bunkers, as well as greenside and fairway bunkers. My responsibilities included assisting with shaping and layout, installing drainage and liners, and placing and finishing bunker sand to achieve a natural, cohesive design.
This role allowed me to develop a strong balance between daily maintenance responsibilities and complex construction projects, contributing to durable, visually distinctive bunkers that aligned with the overall course design and long-term maintenance goals.
